New Guide on Generative AI Tools and Resources for Law Students

The Law Library is pleased to announce the release of a new research guide: Generative AI Tools and Resources for Law Students. This guide is designed to equip law students with essential knowledge about the rapidly evolving landscape of AI tools. Recognizing the transformative impact of AI on legal research, education, and practice, we have compiled a comprehensive resource that addresses key aspects of generative AI.

West Academic and Foundation Press Early eBook Access

West Academic is offering temporary, trial eBook access to West Academic and Foundation Press® textbooks adopted for Fall 2024 courses. This trial access will be available through the first two weeks of fall semester. Follow these instructions to register.

Research Rx Sessions

Need a dose of legal research help? Research librarians will host four lunchtime Research Rx sessions on Wednesdays starting May 15th. Each session will provide training on a different practical research topic frequently encountered by students in summer jobs and internships. 

Summer & Post-Grad Access to Westlaw, Lexis & Databases

Can you use your law school Lexis and Westlaw accounts for summer and post-grad work? Below is information about permitted use of your accounts, as well as additional databases available through Mabie Law Library.

Welcome New Research Law Librarian Stephanie Grace

We are pleased to welcome Stephanie Grace as our newest Research Law Librarian. Stephanie will provide library reference and research services and participate in our legal research instruction. She received her J.D. from Capital University Law School, is currently pursuing a master's in library science at the University of Washington, and has a background in intercollegiate athletics compliance and sports management.
