Labor Summer

What is Labor Summer?

Interns are placed with a host organization over the summer for eight weeks where they are able to gain strategies for leadership development and assist research staff on short and long-term projects. The Labor Center recruits, screens, and selects interns, provides them with ample training, and offers them mentorship opportunities. This is a paid internship.

We Are Seeking:

  • Undergraduate and graduate-level students interested in an internship placement for Summer 2024 focused on labor rights
  • Host organizations that can hire interns and meet the requirements below

Requirements for Host Organizations:

  • Host at least 2 interns
  • Provide clear projects for interns, including goals, objectives, and timeline
  • Assign a staff person to supervise the intern’s work, provide support and feedback
