The UC Davis School of Law Young Alumni Association was founded in 2013 by a volunteer committee of alumni in Southern California. It has since expanded to Northern California and now operates across three major geographic regions: the Los Angeles/Orange County areas, San Francisco Bay area, and Sacramento.
The core purpose of the Young Alumni Association is to create a robust community for the law school’s young alumni, primarily by hosting social events in each region that provide an opportunity for alumni to meet and re-connect. In addition to the social component, the Young Alumni Association also aims to foster mentorship between experienced and recent alumni; support the law school's recruitment, outreach, and job placement efforts by introducing prospective and current students to the alumni network; and enhance the visibility of the law school in each chapter's geographic region.
