UC Davis Resources
At the UC Davis Alcohol, Tobacco & Other Drugs Intervention Services, students can meet with a professional staff person to discuss personal issues involving alcohol, tobacco or other drugs. The service is free of charge.
Law students can access the Safe Party Initiative for policies, laws, and advice on giving and attending safe parties and alcohol-free events.

The State Bar's Lawyer Assistance Program (LAP) provides confidential rehabilitation support for attorneys dealing with substance abuse or mental illness. Professional and peer assistance is also available to attorneys suffering from stress, burnout, depression or chemical dependency.
The Other Bar is a network of recovering lawyers and judges throughout the state, dedicated to assisting others within the profession who are living with alcohol and substance abuse problems. The Other Bar is a private, non-profit corporation, and is founded on the principle of anonymity and strict confidentiality. The program is voluntary and open to all California lawyers, judges and law students.
