Senior Associate Dean Shestowsky Presents at University of Missouri

On Oct. 25, Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Donna Shestowsky spoke at the University of Missouri School of Law symposium “Dispute Resolution at Forty: Looking Back, Looking Forward.”

Shestowsky presented a talk titled “ODR: The Future of ADR?” as part of the  “Emerging Trends: The Next 40 Years?” panel. The panel addressed promising lines of research on topics that have not traditionally been explored or that could be further developed in the dispute resolution field.

Donna Shestowsky is Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law. She holds both a law degree and a Ph.D. in psychology and is a faculty member of the Graduate Group in Psychology at UC Davis.  Her main research objective is to examine basic assumptions underlying the structure of the legal system and to explore ways in which the legal system might be improved using the methodological and analytic tools of psychological theory and research.
