Senior Associate Dean Shestowsky Honors Stanford Law Professor Hensler

Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs Donna Shestowsky spoke on Sept. 20 at a conference honoring Deborah R. Hensler, the Judge John W. Ford Professor of Dispute Resolution at Stanford Law School. Shestowsky’s presentation was titled “What Deborah Hensler has taught us about civil litigants.” 
 
Donna Shestowsky is Senior Associate Dean for Academic Affairs and Martin Luther King Jr. Professor of Law at UC Davis School of Law. She holds both a law degree and a Ph.D. in psychology and is a faculty member of the Graduate Group in Psychology at UC Davis.  Her main research objective is to examine basic assumptions underlying the structure of the legal system and to explore ways in which the legal system might be improved using the methodological and analytic tools of psychological theory and research.
