Professor Ziegler to Advise Smithsonian Women's History Museum
The Smithsonian American Women’s History Museum has selected Professor Mary Ziegler to join a committee of scholars to help guide the museum's efforts to capture the experiences of women in the United States. The committee will provide advice on developing exhibitions, public programs, research initiatives and education resources. The museum appointed 15 scholars with expertise in women and gender studies, American history, anthropology, law and more.
Mary Ziegler is an expert on the law, history, and politics of reproduction, health care, and conservatism in the United States from 1945 to the present. She is one of the world’s leading historians of the U.S. abortion debate.
