Professor Imwinkelried's Evidence Treatises Translated into Chinese

The Advisory Committee Notes to the Federal Rules of Evidence cite two treatises, McCORMICK ON EVIDENCE and WIGMORE, EVIDENCE, more frequently than any other authorities on Evidence law. For the past three editions, Professor Ed Imwinkelried has been one of the major contributors to McCORMICK. One of the chapters Imwinkelried authored is the chapter devoted to the admissibility of expert opinion testimony. Many Chinese Evidence scholars had urged West Publishing Company to translate the treatise into Chinese to make it accessible to Chinese judges, attorneys, law professors, and law students. West Publishing Company has released the Chinese translation of the treatise. Imwinkelried and his coauthors are now at work on the ninth edition of the treatise.
