Professor Frank Speaks to Daily Journal About Colorado River Water-Sharing Plans
Professor Rick Frank spoke to the Daily Journal for a March 12 story on the potential legal ramifications of the deadline passing for seven western states to reach agreement on sharing dwindling water supplies from the Colorado River.
“The deadline that was set was yet another one of the Department of Interior/Bureau of Reclamation’s making,” Frank said. “It is not being driven by a court deadline or anything that’s enforceable.”
Richard M. Frank ’74 is a leader in the field of environmental law, Professor of Environmental Practice and the founding director of the California Environmental Law and Policy Center at UC Davis School of Law.
