Professor Elmendorf Speaks to Washington Post About ADU Study
The Washington Post quoted Professor Christopher Elmendorf in a May 21 story about a study he co-authored on accessory dwelling units, or ADUs.
The study found that ADUs are being built more often in low- to middle-income areas than in wealthy ones. This is “consistent with the theory that this is a viable form of development” in places where it otherwise might be difficult to build, he told the Post.
Christopher S. Elmendorf is a UC Davis Law professor of law whose teaching and research interests include election law, administrative law, statutory interpretation, constitutional law, and property and natural resources law.
