President Biden's Supreme Court Commission Approves Report
The Presidential Commission on the Supreme Court of the United States, formed by President Biden via executive order on April 9, 2021, released a draft final report on December 6. Topics included the potential expansion of the number of U.S. Supreme Court justices; term limits for justices; the Court's emergency docket; and confirmation hearings. The Commission stopped short of making recommendations on how to effect any fundamental changes to the Court. On Tuesday, December 7, the commission unanimously approved the report.
