Our lives are increasingly intertwined with international trade. Trade law affects what goods we can buy, the safety of the foods we consume, and the conditions under which our clothes are produced. This course will review the existing landscape of trade regulation from the World Trade Organization to regional organizations such as NAFTA. The course will consider the implications of international trade law for developing economies and analyze both the strengths and weaknesses of the current international trade order.
